Pumpkin Patch {2011}

We couldn't have asked for a better day to go to Vala's Pumpkin Patch today.  We even had extra company to share the day with.  Aunt Teresa, Uncle Kurt, Taylor and Gpa Mike met us there.  We ate turkey legs and funnel cakes, rode the train, drove the four wheeler pedal cars, ate some warm chocolate chip cookies, and went on a hayrack ride.  Lily picked a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and we even got a little baby one for Marley.

choo choo...

Lily loved all the little scenes to take pictures in...

mmm.  Warm chocolate chip cookies.  Daddy bought a whole bucket :)

Brian was having a thing with funny faces I guess...

Hayrack ride

Searching for the perfect pumpkin.  This was sort of hard as LOTS of them were rotten.  Getting to the end of the season.

Taylor found the perfect pumpkin for Marley.  So cute!

Waiting in a seriously long line forever to eat dinner...  Marley ate a whole hot dog!

All ready to go home!  Treats and all...

Nothing cuter than sleeping babies!

I wanna play with my pumpkin... I just love her pants!

I have a few more photos coming from Aunt TT so will post those soon!

Miss Marley is 11 months old today!  She is becoming such a big girl and has the sweetest {well mostly} disposition.  She has developed quite the boisterous personality.  She is defiant and lets you know when she doesn't get what she wants.  She will scream at the top of her lungs very quickly to let you know she disagrees with something or to stand up for herself.  She is learning all too quickly that big sister doesn't always share.  We are still working on that.

2 weeks ago today, I took Marley to the ER because she had been screaming all morning, not eating, or sleeping well.  After 3 1/2 hours or so the doctor simply said she had a bad cold.  She said her ears were red but that was it.  Then the next day, her left eye started draining a lovely green gunk.  I knew this was the start of another ear infection.  The girls already had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday to get their flu shots and for Marley to have her ears re-checked from the first infection.  Sure enough my suspicions were confirmed.  So she was given a second yet stronger antibiotic to take for 10 days.  That was her second ear infection in a month :( Our pediatrician said if she has two more, Marley will be referred to an ENT specialist.  I have a feeling it may be a long winter... Especially with big sister in preschool now.

Miss Marley is now crawling on her knees rather than army crawling.  Can do "SO BIG!"  And she also thinks the remote is a phone.  It is so stinking cute!!!

I will update soon with recent pictures and some of my new hair projects.  I opened up an Etsy store and haven't had a chance to list anything yet.  I hope to get that done soon.  So much to do so little time.  Not sure if they will sell but I'd sure like to give it a try.  I also hope to make necklaces in the very near future to add to the shop.  Oh and the shop name is Lil Mar & Co.  Be on the lookout!
